I'm Chiquita, expert in social justice and human rights education
Since 1994, I have been designing leadership education programs focused on race, gender, class, sexuality and disability; and issues that impact Black, Brown, Indigenous, Asian, Muslim & Jewish communities.
I've worked in grassroots low-income communities, non-profits, government, faith institutions, colleges and universities and at the United Nations. I've held every position from volunteer to executive director. My goal is to leverage my experience and expertise in service of humanity.
My work is guided by the memory of my ancestors; Black feminism and intersectionality theory; and Martin Luther King's enduring vision of beloved community.
